What is Backyard Adventures?

Backyard Adventures is a program for kids designed by kids in Anchorage, Alaska. We specialize in safe, quality outdoor fun for little explorers ages 5-13. Our goal is to connect the community to our beautiful green spaces and trail systems through offering a fully inclusive, fully outdoor camp. Through the incorporation of a play based learning curriculum participants will gain knowledge on Alaska’s flora and fauna, wilderness safety and trail etiquette. Each day will bring new topics dealing with the camps direct natural world and will be re-enforced through reading, journaling, music, games and exploring.
